John Collins, Jr. was born and raised on the Badger property with camp taking place in his backyard for his entire life. John attended camp himself, followed by his four children, and today, his two grandchildren can be seen roaming the property as proud Badger campers. John H. Collins 3rd Executive Director
John Collins III is a third generation Badger Director who attended camp since he was a tot, moving up the ranks to counselor, lifeguard and assistant director, before going on to become the Executive Director, as he remains today. Jay Ceballos Swim Coordinator & Director of Special Events
Jay Ceballos has worked at Badger Day Camp for more than 12 years, and works year round with Badger as an integral member of Swim School staff teaching young swimmers how to develop their stroke technique. Jay is a Teaching Assistant for Middle School Physical Education and also coaches girls soccer. Read more.

Shaina Ferguson Assistant Director & Director of Transportation
Shaina has been part of the Badger team since 2012! She began as an assistant counselor, then a head counselor and now works on the administrative team year round. She recently graduated from Lehman College with a Masters Degree in School Counseling and previously attended West Virginia University, receiving her Bachelors Degree in Education and Human Services. Audrey Bruno Assistant Director
Audrey has always known that her calling was to work in education. A graduate of St. John’s University with a BA in Elementary Education with a Master’s Degree in Literacy Education from The College of New Rochelle.
